Texworld USA Hosts Newest Fabrics from Around the Globe Next Week in New York City

More than 155 textile mills from around the world will feature their latest fabrics during Texworld USA, Jan. 22-24, at the Javits Convention Center.  

Texworld USA’s wide array of fabrics provides a strong international business platform for designers and buyers seeking high-quality, well-designed fabrics from the following product groups: Cotton, Denim, Embroidery, Functional Fabrics, Knitted, Lace, Linen, Silk, Silky Aspects, Wool and Accessories.

The new fabrics that will be shown are used in a wide range of applications, including apparel for men, women and children, workwear and home furnishings. 

With renewable and sustainable practices in textiles headlining the show’s seminar series and impacting the industry as a whole, many of the show’s exhibitors will feature eco-fabrics.

Among the show highlights from exhibitors are:

  • Alok Industries, an India-based manufacturer of home textiles, apparel fabrics, garments and polyester yarns, will  promote the global “organic movement” by featuring its primarily organic fibers at Texworld USA. This focus is  one part of a major company inititive that also includes ensuring the use of sustainable resources and paying a fair price to farmers. Alok Industries will be displaying other cotton, knits and embroidery fabrics for apparel, home linens and work wear as well.
  • Linen, Tencel, bamboo, viscose and cotton “eco-friendly” fabrics will highlight BE-MODE Textile Co., Ltd.’s exhibit at Texworld USA. This Taiwanese fabric manufacturer is committed to developing environmentally aware fabrics. Its linen product group will include linen, linen/Tencel, linen/bamboo, linen/cotton and linen/rayon blends. The Tencel product group offers Tencel, Tencel/cotton, Tencel/viscose andTencel/bamboo, available with or without Lycra. Viscose products include viscose/rayon, viscose/cotton and viscose/Tencel with Lycra. All product varieties are available piece-dyed or yarn-dyed.
  • From Korea, Hans Industrial Co. will feature woven dress shirting, suit and pant fabrics. The company manufactures a wide range of materials that will also be on display at Texworld USA, including cotton, mixed nylon and polyester, with Spandex; T/R blended bi-stretch; woven solid, yard-dyed and prints; polyester and matched fabrics; and rayon and T/R knitted fabric.
  • Mozartex Co. Ltd., a Chinese fabric manufacturer whose mission is to offer high quality fabrics at competitive prices, will feature its environmentally friendly collections at Texworld USA. These collections include bamboo, Tencel, Lezing Modal, organic cotton and linen fabrics. The Mozartex exhibit will also highlight its Tencel/cotton, linen, polyester, wool and silk blends, as well as Tencel corduroys, moleskins, pigments, nano fabrics, jacquards, high-end enzyme washed cottons and nylon/cotton blends, for use in men’s, ladies’ and children’s wear.
